Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (NYSE: BRK.A; BRK.B) today announced it has signed an agreement to acquire Occidental Petroleum Corporation’s (NYSE: OXY) petrochemical subsidiary, OxyChem, for approximately $9.7 billion in cash.
