Mortgage rates moved slightly higher in the past week, according to Freddie Mac. The 30-year fixed-rate home loan rose four basis points to 6.34%, while the 15-year fixed-rate gained six basis points to 5.55%. Both may be in for a move lower if Treasury rates continue to fall.
