Mineralization at Berrigan Mine is primarily associated with carbonatized ultramafic rocks. Analysis of visually non-mineralized samples, including intervals initially excluded from sampling, has identified low-grade halos associated with quartz-carbonate stockwork that increase the potential volume of the mineralized envelope.
